Another Month goes by

Well, unfortunately another month has gone screaming by....
It is now much cooler here, the leaves have all turned beautiful shades of red, orange and yellow (pictures to follow next weekend!) and the daylight we have loved is now slipping away quicker each day. Boo!!!!
Jason will be home next weekend. It will be so nice to have him back, and hard to believe it has been six weeks since he left. Of course, this gets him home just in time to ramp up production for our Thanksgiving feast... an no Mom, do not mention the farm or anything else about what we will be missing this year. I am not in the mood to cry!

Well - have been slow to post these but ta da! pictures of the house at last...
in case we haven't said it - we love this place. it is a drive to work but well worth it to escape the noise of the jets, the traffic and crime of the larger towns, etc. so here goes a brief description of the place and a few shots to see "ma casa"!

Odd Observation of the Day

So What Happened Today

after prodding by family and friends - i am going to make one final (and possibly desperate) attempt to keep this updated.
it is hard to know where to begin - we have been both busy and lazy... so guess i will start with "the kid" - the Shade!

Most of the time anyways. Shade gets daily walks on the commons, play time with her new boyfriend Zach and has only had one major hiccup - a reinjury to her tail that left us sitting in the vet ER at 2AM on July 4th and again about 7 hours later. after a fabulous fashion shave and new "do" to the tail all the x-rays came back clean and clear. no breaks, no blockages and nothing a few days of TLC and remadyll could not fix. needless to say she milked it for all the treats, loving and sleeping in the bed she could... and still is.

No More Maybes

Today, no more maybes...

I will do better at sending emails to my friends.

I will walk the dog.

I will call my mothers.

I will update this blog and get some pictures out there for our families.

I will still miss all of you dearly.

I will be grateful for each day and what adventure it holds.

And most of all, I will be thankful for all God has given me and my family.
